What to Wear: Easter Brunch

Whether you celebrate Easter or not, this Sunday marks the first Spring brunch that calls for an outfit with a little more flair. I'm loving all of these pieces right now, especially the super-affordable Labworks for Target peplum blazer and skirt, and the adorable Kate Spade radio clutch.

Am I the only one who's completely over this cold weather? It's frigid in NYC, and it's doesn't help that we're being already bombarded with Spring fashion. I've been coveting light, breezy, resort-worthy pieces, particularly this gorgeous woven cotton top from Opening Ceremony. It's perfect for the early days of Spring under a leather jacket, and then in the warmer months with a cute maxi skirt and flats. I love the texture of this $20 striped maxi paired with scalloped flats that may or may not already be in my Lulu's shopping cart!

Weekend Wear: A Little Nostalgia

There's a ton of Mickey Mouse themed clothing and accessories floating around the fashion world lately, but most of them are a bit to literal and cheesy for my taste. I love the idea of wearing my favorite mouse - it reminds me of my first vacation ever. I was six, happy as can be and convinced that I never wanted to leave the Magic Kingdom. But, I don't want to look like I belong there, right? Anyway, I saw this Neil Barrett sweatshirt and it made me smile. I love it paired with a simple midi skirt, the brightest nail color from Floss Gloss, sequined Supras, and Ray-Bans.

Outfit | I Wish I Was Wearing

I know I said I'm trying to inject more color into my closet, but baby steps right? Besides, you can't go wrong with stripes, especially paired with boyfriend jeans. I'm obsessed with these Sessun platform oxfords from Madewell, in a gorgeous salmon-pink color. I'm not one for shoes in pastel colors, but there's something about these. The Byredo scent is on my wishlist, as well as the lace bra that I wish was in my (much larger) bust size.
