Style: Rachel Roy Behind the Scenes

I love when a designer allows the behind-the-scenes madness in preparation of fashion week to be filmed. I count Rachel Roy as one of my favorite designers not only for her aesthetic, but she aims to be a voice for women. I couldn't imagine juggling as much as she does and remaining as calm, level-headed and composed as she is. Not to mention her personal style is fabulous.

Stylelist captured Rachel as she readied her Spring 2012 collection. Take a look:

P.S. The cross Rachel is wearing at the 9:33 mark? Amazing!

Style: Gucci Spring 2012

Black, white and metallic blazers are definitely the standout pieces of the latest Spring collection from Gucci.  Paired with sharply tailored pants and styled with sleek hair and smoky makeup, I love the menswear inspiration!

Style: J Crew Spring 2012

The best thing about this collection is that these looks can so easily transition to this Fall season. And I love the signature J Crew pop of color on the lips.

Style: NYFW Street Style

My absolute favorite looks from the countless street style images I've seen. So much inspiration.

Style: Milly Spring 2012

The best bold, graphic colors and prints of all the Spring collections.

Style: 3.1. Phillip Lim

Probably one of my favorite collections of the week, I love the minimal use of color, and the androgynous shapes that are still feminine.

Style: L.A.M.B. Spring 2012

Fun tribal prints, and girly silhouettes are in step with what we expect from Gwen Stefani. Love the styling!

Style: BCBG Max Azria Spring 2012

It's evident from this collection that tribal and geometric prints will still be a presence come next Spring. I'm in love with the first look! Azria's prints are amazing.

Style: Carolina Herrera Spring 2012

Even with geometric and art-deco prints, this collection is as classic as the crisp uniform of white shirts and black skirts Carolina Herrera is known for. The silhouettes in spring greens and yellow, and pale blue and grey are decidedly feminine, but the prints definitely kick it up a notch.
