GLOSSYBOX: September 2012

I'm a bit late with this, but I decided to post this anyway, because it's so good. September's GLOSSYBOX has a "Fall Forward" theme, and celebrates "breakthrough beauty products and a mixed set of forward thinking essentials. This box is definitely well worth the $21 subscription price, and I'm really happy with the selection! My favorite product is the GLOSSY pink lipstick, but check out the list of items below.

New In | Glossybox Germany

I was lucky enough to snag one of the International Glossyboxes through a Facebook giveaway, and I was sent the German box. I wasn't sure what to expect, given my unfamiliarity of German beauty products, but I was pleasantly surprised with the contents. The theme for the Glossy Mag and box I received (June) was the Wet-Look edition. The images in the Glossy Mag are gorgeous, and though I couldn't read the language, I recognized three of the brands, Shiseido, Alessandro and Kryolan and I honestly love most of the products so far!

What was inside:

Alessandro Hands Up Hemp Seed Handcreme - I didn't really love the scent of this too much, but it was very moisturizing and long-lasting. 

Shiseido Daytime Protective Cream - I've been in the market for a day cream, so I'm interested to see how my skin reacts to this. I've used it for the past couple of days, and I like it so far.  I love that it has an SPF in it as well.

Kryolan Satin Powder Sparkling Eye Dust in Silver - I love this! It's exactly as the name suggests, a glitter lover's dream product. I will be using it as a highlight, and a little definitely goes a long way.

Alessandro Nail Polish in Sunshine Reggae - A true sunny yellow, I can't wait to try this before summer officially ends.

Tiroler Nussol - From the theme of the box, and a little Google searching, I'm assuming this product is a suntan oil. I don't really have a use for it, but the scent is very pleasant; my boyfriend says it reminds him of Tide! I'll probably just use it as an after-bath oil.

Overall, it was fun to see what other countries receive in their Glossyboxes, but I can't wait for the US August box!

GLOSSYBOX USA Is Here!

I'm so excited to report that GLOSSYBOX is launching the US very soon! I've been swooning, drooling and lusting after the pretty pink boxes after seeing so many of my favorite Youtube gurus raving about the brand. Similar to other beauty subscription services, for a monthly fee you will receive five luxury samples. But from what I've seen, the samples are from really amazing brands, and a few will be full-sized. For me, that's the best part.
