Wide Open Small Spaces

When I first read this NY Times article about the Faires, a lovely young couple living in a 375 square ft box in the Lower East Side, the idea of it made me claustrophobic. But these two creatives (furniture designer, and retail sales rep) have made the ultimate hipster chic haven in a two room closet. The small touches, from the handmade furniture and chalkboard wall, to the lighting that compliments the exposed brick, makes me rethink wanting to live in a large loft.
Totally worthy of a Selby walk-through, no?

  1. I love the idea, but i don't think I could handle it. We're sort of stroggling with out one bedroom flat with huge kitchen and separate living room!
