DIY Satsuma Candle

Such a beautiful, simple idea. I'm not sure if can find Satsuma oranges in my area, but I'd love to try this. See the full instructions over at Honestly WTF.

    If you put a hole in the other half at the top, you can cover this and it makes a wonderful luminary!

    Satsuma oranges are seasonal. And expensive. My friend has a recipe for Satsuma Cello which is taking the rind, and just the rind (no pith) soaking it in a good quality Vodka for 10 days, adding a simple syrup, let that sit for another 8 and O-M-G it's fantastic! She made this as Christmas gifts this past season!
