Summer Escape: C. Wonder by the Sea

If you follow me on Instagram, you would've seen a few photos from my day in Southampton with C. Wonder this past Friday. I thought I'd share just a few of my favorite snaps from the day here as well! I spent the day at Chris Burch's gorgeous estate with some of my favorite fab bloggers, had lunch, and a visit to C. Wonder's Southampton store. Definitely visit C. Wonder for cute summer items in-store now. 

Events: Glossybox Tweet-Up with Koh Gen Do Cosmetics and Sephora

I've been in serious hibernation lately, but I had to make it to Times Square to celebrate with Glossybox and the launch of Koh Gen Do in Sephora. The beauty blogger tweet-up was a stylish fete complete with mini makeovers, exclusive goodies and cupcakes and champagne (my fave!).

Koh Gen Do was previously only sold in Barney's, but a limited selection is now available at Sephora. I first learned of the brand through their inclusion in the September Glossybox, and was really impressed with their skincare offering once I browsed their site. I'm not too keen on experimenting with foundations since my skin is rather fussy, but I'm particularly interested in their Cleansing Spa Water. Luckily, Glossybox gifted us with lots of goodies to sample!

Events: Lulu's #NYFWStyleStudio

I had the pleasure of attending the Lulu's Style Studio event on Friday, and it was one of the best events I've attended in my blogger life. The OpenHouse Gallery space was decorated beautifully, and so many wonderful sponsors and bloggers were in attendance!

Events: Gap and FabSugar Joy it Up!

Last night I had the pleasure of attending Joy it Up, presented by the Gap and FabSugar, for a fun evening of shopping, shopping, cocktails and more shopping! The editors handpicked gifts from the Gap, Pantone and Chronicle Books. The best part is that the gift picks were discounted throughout the evening.

The FabSugar editors also handpicked holiday-ready party pieces that included a shearling vest (that they were all wearing), a soft grey fur coat, and a sequin boucle sweater.

I also had a chance to chat with FabSugar Associate Editor, Marisa Tom, and she shared my love of sequins in the daytime!

I had a great time, and I can't wait for the next FabSugar event!

Events: Real Simple x L'Oreal Pop-Up Shop

As I mentioned in my last post, this weekend I visited the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park. Citibank also presented a Real Simple Pop-Up Shop, which housed the L'Oreal Boutique during the event. 

L'Oreal graciously offered free beauty and hair mini-makeovers, and I had the chance to have my face beautified by celeb makeup artist, Tiffany Hall-Scarmana.

Update: The lovely folks at GenConnect had Tiffany share her holiday makeup tips, and gift ideas!

I always have a difficult time finding the right shade for my skin, so Tiffany mixed two True Match Liquid Foundation shades that were perfect for my complexion. She also applied the Studio Secrets One Sweep Blush to my cheeks, and gave me a sample of the Voluminous False Lashes mascara (one of my faves).

There was also a makeup demonstration with tips on how to apply foundation and blush, and a hair demonstration on achieving a chic updo.

Samples were also given to the first 50 people in line. Thank goodness my boyfriend stood in line for me while I got my makeup done!

I can't wait to try the Colour Riche Lip Gloss (in Blushing Berry), and the EverSleek hair products.

Events: Piperlime & Rachel Zoe Piping Hot Lounge

Yesterday I made my way down to Soho for Piperlime's Piping Hot Lounge hosted by Rachel Zoe. Piperlime promised a peek at Rachel's holiday picks, gift card giveaways and a chance to meet the super stylist herself! Housed in the OpenHouse Gallery, the 2-hour event was a little bit of a blur, but a fun time nonetheless.

As guests were escorted in, we were handed Piperlime gift cards, and we were told that they would be signed by Rachel. I totally wasn't expecting it, so it was a sweet surprise! I grabbed a complimentary peppermint hot cocoa from the little bar, and made my way to have my gift card signed.

I wasn't able to get any good pics of Rachel (she's pretty fast!) but I recorded some footage of her and a special guest, supermodel Molly Sims! Also spotted: Her hubby Rodger, Joey and VP of Brand Development, Mandana. I felt like I was watching the Rachel Zoe Project live :)
